Hiring doctors online now easier with first of its kind service from HealthcareLink
Friday 11 November 2016: HealthcareLink.com.au, Australia’s leading online healthcare and medical career marketplace, has launched a new service for employers on its platform, allowing employers access to pre-screened candidates who match their requirements.
Unveiled today at the GPCE medical conference in Melbourne, HealthcareLink’s on-demand program is the first of its kind in online recruitment, particularly in a complex industry as healthcare. The program combines human empowered screening processes with technology enabled matching system to provide employers with pre-screened, shortlisted candidates, available to invite to apply for open jobs.
Employers can spend hours, sometimes days sifting through CVs and applications, without an easy way of comparison between applicants. After a considerable amount of time spent going back and forth with that ‘perfect’ candidate, it can turn out that they were not even ready to take up the role for a few months, thus taking the employer back to square one.
The on-demand service is designed to help employers in the healthcare and medical industry reach candidates who are committed to taking on the next step in their career. For jobseekers, the program helps them distinguish themselves from the rest, while receiving support and assistance from HealthcareLink in finding the next right role.
HealthcareLink’s Support team selects approved candidates from its platform, checks licences and registrations and screens candidates. These pre-screened candidates are then made available online to employers to contact when there is matching job vacancy.
Kopi Nadarajah, CEO & Founder at HealthcareLink says, “The evolution of HealthcareLink into the online careers marketplace it is today means that we understand what it takes to find and bring the ideal candidate into medical practice – the hours of work, interviews, back and forth with a number of different applicants. Thus, our on-demand service was borne; recognising that the need for the human touch to improve the overall online experience, so the candidate sourcing process is effortless to the healthcare employer.”
The program is currently open only to General Practitioners (GPs), nationally, with the plan to be open to other key professions in the healthcare industry soon.
