General practice
The National Terms and Conditions for the Employment of Registrars (NTCER) covers employment in a general practice setting. You will be considered as an employee in this set up with the appropriate conditions set by the administration. Salary will come from the billing of the patients who were the recipient of your service.

Also, it is important to have the appropriate consideration before the contract signing. Aspects such as training length and procedure, wage, hours of work and other key aspects of employment must be duly discussed.
Full-time registrars work a minimum of 38 hours a week that covers technical roles in the employment set up. Consultation hours and patient management are included in these minimum work hours.
