102129 - Medications In Pregnancy

  • : Online

The video activity aims to provide an update for GP’s on the safety of medications in pregnancy.

Relevance to General Practice

In Victoria birth rates are on the rise with 84,404 births registered in 2016 up from 74,846 births registered in 2015. GP’s are regularly responsible for the care of women in early pregnancy. As such GP’s are well positioned to identify the need to initiate supplements and review prescription medications with the aim to improve pregnancy outcomes.

This education activity aims to provide an updated resource available for GP’s to further explore the safety of medications in pregnancy.
