127625 - Mandatory reporting 101WEBINAR

  • : Online

A webinar to MIPS members. The Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (National Law) states that healthcare practitioners (including students), employers and education providers have an obligation to make a mandatory report to AHPRA against a practitioner whose ability to practice has placed the public at risk of substantial harm and who is engaged in 'notifiable conduct'. Notifiable conduct includes instances where a practitioner has practised while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, engaged in sexual misconduct, was impaired or placed the public at risk of harm by practising in a way that is a significant departure from accepted professional standards. The webinar will cover these and many other important issues.
Presented by Russell Ball, Director, Ball and Partners.
