  • : Online

The aim of this activity is to educate GPs on the latest childhood immunisation issues through 25 multiple choice questions, taking approximately an hour for participants to complete.

Relevance to General Practice

Vaccination against a range of bacterial and viral diseases is an integral part of communicable disease control world-wide. Tens of thousands of deaths of Australian children were prevented during the 20th century by immunisation, with the effects supplemented by the introduction of newer vaccines.

This multiple choice activity assists health professionals to familiarise themselves with paediatric immunisation. All questions in this activity have been updated and refer to the current Australian Immunisation Handbook, 10th edition, which is available online. You may wish to refer to the relevant chapters while completing the activity.
