- : Online
General practitioner prescribing of direct acting antivirals (DAA) for the treatment of hepatitis C virus (HCV) has steadily increased since unrestricted access was provided in March 2016 by the PBS, to increase treatment rates for the ~170,000 patients living with HCV in Australia. This workshop will update you on the screening, diagnosis and treatment of a once-incurable disease, to achieve the World Health Organisation target to eliminate this major health burden by 2030.
