Relevance to General PracticeThis One day Course is aimed at Providing Skills and knowledge to manage Patients presenting to General Practice who are critically sick, unconscious or Collapsed Using Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines of DRSABCDE. It Includes the recognition, assessment, immediate management and then appropriate Referral to Emergency Department of nearest Hospital. Skills Covered are how to manage Anaphylaxis, Defibrillation skills using both AED and manual mode, Applying Cervical Collar,use of Airway Adjuncts like Gudels,Nasopharyngeal,LMA ,I Gel and Bad Mask Ventilation. It Covers Basic Life Support skills and how to perform effective CPR as per ARC guidelines.
