  • : Online

This brain-spine update has been developed with a GP focus in order to expand the understanding of diagnostic and management strategies for patients presenting with signs and symptoms of neurospinal pathologies in the primary care setting. A team of specialist neurosurgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, and pain management specialists from Prince of Wales Private Hospital will lead GPs through interactive sessions that review, debate and examine evidence, patient case studies, and the available diagnostic and treatment options available to General Practitioners and patients.

Relevance to General Practice

In alignment with the RACGP this activity will reinforce best practice and strengthen core skills, thus supporting GPs to more effectively identify patients who are at risk of developing, or who have developed, neurospinal pathologies. The diagnostic tools, treatment options and management strategies will reinforce the foundation for the holistic management of patients presenting with symptoms of neurospinal pathologies.
