194708 - Recognition and treatment of anaphylaxis
This educational activity aims to provide GPs with practical knowledge, resources and confidence to more effectively assess and manage anaphylaxis in their practice.
Relevance to General PracticeThe rates of anaphylaxis have increased significantly over the last two decades and Australia currently has one of the highest allergy rates in the world. GPs play a key role in the treatment and education of patients who present with anaphylaxis and other allergy-related issues, however, most GPs have relatively limited experience in this area of practice. As such, it is vital for GPs to develop their clinical understanding of anaphylaxis and how it can be managed.
