2026 Ride for Medical Research

The 2026 Ride for Medical Research marks the 40th anniversary of Rotary’s commitment to advancing medical research through community-driven fundraising. Spanning six days and approximately 578 kilometers across regional Victoria, this cycling event brings together riders, support crews, and Rotary members in a shared mission to raise vital funds for health research. Organized by Rotary District 9815, the ride continues a legacy that has already contributed over $2.47 million to medical research initiatives. Each day features scenic routes through towns like Woodend, Harcourt, Marong, and Castlemaine, with distances ranging from 68 to 115 kilometers. Participants enjoy camaraderie, physical challenge, and the satisfaction of supporting breakthroughs in mental health and general health research.
