Relevance to General Practice

A considerable portion of the healthcare expenditure and workload of 
general practitioners (GPs) is on the diagnosis and management of chronic 
conditions. It is estimated that GPs managed 21.1 million more chronic 
conditions in 2015–16 than in 2006–07.
