With appropriate training, experience and performance, ultrasound techniques have the potential to produce successful procedures with reduced complications.
- Modify ultrasound system controls to attain basic practical proficiency in image optimization.
- Describe the basic nerve blocks techniques&demonstrate basic practical proficiency for the following:brachial plexus,sciatic,femoral,transversus abdominal plane
- Compare techniques and clinical applications of ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia procedures to improve success rates and reduce the risk of complications*
- Acquire hand-eye co-ordination and needling skills through experience gained in the use of ultrasound phantoms
