98955 - Rural Emergency Obstetrics Training (REOT)
A GP practicing in rural and remote Australia is often at times working in isolation or in a solo practice. They are required to draw on a broad range of skills in caring for the community at large - either in practice; supervising and treating inpatients as small local hospitals; or as first responders in isolated trauma situations.
This is achieved by using inter-professional clinic simulations a practical hands on workshop
This course was developed by rural GPs and Obstetric specialist who
identified the need for regular general up skilling of these extended
practical skills and current practice developments.
