Accredited Persons Training Program

The Accredited Persons Training Program is a specialized educational initiative developed by the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) in partnership with NSW Health. It is designed to prepare individuals to act as Accredited Persons under the Mental Health Act 2007 (NSW). Accredited Persons are authorized to make critical decisions regarding the assessment, detention, and care of individuals experiencing acute mental health crises.
