- List the most common causes of dysuria in women and men
Dysuria is a common symptom affecting up to one-quarter of adult women each year. It describes a burning or stinging sensation on urination. It is most commonly caused by a lower urinary tract infection (UTI), but other conditions should be considered, especially in men.
