Advanced Life Support Level 1 Accreditation Training, Sydney Adventist Hospital
Overview:
Adventist HealthCare Limited in partnership with Resuscitation Australia are proud to offer ALS 1 accreditation training.
Developed by Resuscitation Australia, this course provides essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively recognise, assess and manage critically ill patients and work as an effective team member in cardiac arrest situations.
The following topics will be covered:

Recognition and assessment of critically ill patients

Management of deteriorating patients

Airway management techniques

Defibrillation

Cardiac arrest management

Effective team dynamics
The ALS1 course complies with Australian and New Zealand Committee on Resuscitation (ANZCOR) Guidelines and National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
Refreshments and morning or afternoon tea will be provided.

Registered Medical Practitioners and Registered Nurses.
