AMC Clinical Preparation Course (12-Week)

The 12 Week AMC Clinical Exam Preparation Course (After Hours) offered by ARIMGSAS is a comprehensive training program tailored for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) preparing for the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Clinical Examination. This after-hours format is specifically designed to accommodate busy professionals, providing flexible evening and weekend sessions that fit around work commitments.

The course spans 12 weeks and delivers a total of 172 hours of structured learning, including 87 hours of educational activities and 85 hours of performance review. Sessions are conducted via Zoom with interactive role-play practice, but participants are welcome to attend in person at the ARIMGSAS venue in Melbourne, where facilities include spacious classrooms and complimentary refreshments.

The curriculum covers a wide range of clinical disciplines essential for the AMC Clinical Exam, including medicine and surgery (cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, biliary, hematology, infectious disease, renal, endocrine, neurology), obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, psychiatry, ophthalmology, ENT, dermatology, travel medicine, general practice/public health, emergency medicine, oncology, counselling, communication skills, and physical examination techniques. All content is aligned with the latest Australian guidelines from RCH, RACGP, RANZCOG, and other authoritative bodies.

Participants benefit from interactive workshops, discounted repeat enrolments, and access to an online student portal with slides and resources available for six months. The program also includes optional AMC simulated trial exams for an additional fee, providing a realistic practice environment.

Beyond academic preparation, ARIMGSAS supports students with employment services, including job application guidance, resume counselling, and references from the Director for eligible candidates. This holistic approach ensures that graduates not only succeed in the AMC Clinical Exam but also transition smoothly into the Australian healthcare system.
