This scenario is an opportunity for you to apply the principles outlined in the Care Certificate Standards in a homeless setting.
It will present a series of questions which you should answer based on the Care Certificate knowledge-based sessions.
The scenario takes place in a community-based project for the homeless, which may use different policies and procedures to your workplace.
Please check that you are following the correct policies and procedures for your own place of work, and discuss any differences within the scenario with your mentor.
In this scenario you will follow Nathan, a healthcare assistant at the Kingsley Mead mental health homeless project.
Nathan has recently started at the project and is working through the 15 Standards of the Care Certificate.
Has arrived for an early shift and is about to go into the handover meeting.
