This course will provide Primary Care Providers in Refugee Health Services with the tools to diagnose, manage and support patients with viral hepatitis.
General Practitioners play a crucial role in delivering a healthier outcome through early diagnosis and appropriate management of both hepatitis B and C.
This update will focus on management of viral hepatitis within refugee Health Services. Topics covered include epidemiology, transmission, testing, monitoring, treatment and management of hepatitis B and C, and the integration of Primary Health Care with Tertiary care.
Case discussions will focus on practical management of patients with viral hepatitis.
This interactive workshop includes PowerPoint presentations and case discussions facilitated by specialists and General Practitioners experienced in the treatment and management of hepatitis B and hepatitis C.
