This session provides an overview of the increase in cases, why it is important to recognise potential cases and how to explain a diagnosis to the child or young person and their family.
Introduction
Type 2 diabetes in children and young people remains a relatively rare condition. However, its' prevalence has continued to increase rapidly year on year.
