Elbow Pain course for GPs



This session provides essential information on the common causes of pain in the elbow, their associated diagnoses and recommended treatment, as well as an overview of elbow anatomy.

- list the common conditions that cause elbow pain
- describe the key features of the anatomy of the elbow joint
- identity the clinical features of the common causes of elbow pain
- select the most appropriate treatment for elbow pain
Elbow joint pathologies are a common cause of attendances in general practice.
Satpal Singh Shekhawat is a principal GP in Kirton Lindsey, a small dispensing practice in rural Lincolnshire. He has been working there for the last five years and has been a GP trainer for the last three years.
