Endodontic Aims course for Dental Practice



This session introduces the basic biology of endodontic disease. The role of microbial infection in pulpal and periapical disease are described and the causes of periapical disease are discussed.

By the end of this session you will be able to:
- List the objectives of endodontic treatment
- Identify modern concepts of endodontic treatment
- Identify the causes of endodontic disease
- Identify the principal method of treating pulpal and periapical disease
Endodontics is the branch of dentistry which involves the diagnosis and treatment of disease relating to the dental pulp and periapical tissues.
This session will introduce you to the basic biology of endodontic disease.
