This micro skills course will explore ethical and equity issues relating to the planning of services, such as equality and diversity, the involvement of patients and the public, the rationing of services and the equitable use of resources. This micro skills course supports the development of leadership in clinical settings.

  • Examine how systematic consideration of ethical issues can be built into normal planning and management processes

  • Demonstrate your contribution to leadership in the clinical setting by recommending ways of widening patient and public participation in decisions
