Expanding your Scope: an HIV/STI Case Discussion for Primary Health Care Nurses

This evening session will explore opportunities for primary health care nurses to incorporate sexual health risk assessment, prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, management and care into their clinical practice.
Resources to support nurses to expand their scope and engage in sexual health will be discussed through case studies.
ASHM invites nurses to register for this HIV/STI case discussion, to explore the role of primary health care nurses in HIV and STI care through case-based examples.
Nurses are welcome to bring along one or more cases involving HIV & STI prevention, testing, diagnosis or management to discuss with the group.
Refreshments and dinner will be provided.
This session is free for QLD nurses. Nurses from interstate are welcome to attend for a registration fee. This education is the equivalent of 2.5 CPD hours.
