Foundations of Airway Management (FORM)
An Emergency Medicine Education and Training (EMET) program for doctors and team members (where numbers allow). Emergency Specialists will navigate participants through a number of clinical scenarios
Topics include: management of patients with respiratory pathologies with particular attention paid to severe asthma and pneumothorax. Attendees will be taught practical skills such as chest drain insertion, chest decompression and management of ventilators.
This activity has been approved by the RACGP QI&CPD Program as Category 1 (40 CPD points) and the ACRRM for 30 PRPD PDP points / 30 Emergency Medicine MOPS points.
GPs eligible for the Rural Procedural Training Grant need to register with their college prior to attending this event to be eligible to apply for the grant.
