Hepatitis B s100 Prescriber Course

This interactive course will give primary care practitioners the tools with which to confidently diagnose, treat and manage hepatitis B.
More than 1,400 Australians die from liver cancer each year. Mortality from liver cancer due to chronic hepatitis B (CHB) is increasing and without access to appropriate care, around 15-25% of people living with CHB will die from their condition. Timely diagnosis and clinical management, including antiviral therapy, can save lives.
This interactive workshop involves; online learning modules, in-depth presentations, case discussions, and facilitated group work giving attendees an opportunity to discuss practical strategies with peers and specialists.
Successful completion of the training and assessment will accredit community-based medical practitioners to prescribe s100 highly specialised drugs for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B.
