How to Thrive and Be Healthy in Your Health Career (Interactive Live Webinar)
In order to thrive in our career as a Health Professional, we must have both hard skills and soft skills.
Hard skills are job specific skills related to our work. Examples of hard skills are, how to examine the heart, how to extract a tooth, how to take observations from a patient, and how to manipulate a joint, to name a few.
Soft skills are more related to interpersonal and relational skills. It helps us to have positive relationships with our clients, colleagues, and staff. Unlike hard skills, it can be generalized to other areas of our lives too, including our family life.
Employability relies on both hard and soft skills, with soft skills often having more weight. So a candidate with great soft skills and average hard skills, may be more valuable to an organization than someone with great hard skills, and average soft skills.
Soft skills have the ability to help us thrive both in the work place, and in our home life. It can help us to have a healthy body, mind, and relationships through the biopsychosocial framework.
Join us in this zoom workshop for some simple hacks to improve your soft skills!
