The Youth Friendly Doctor (YFD) program is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge to remain up to date with the most pertinent issues affecting young people and how to best manage these issues.
This workshop, Mental Health: Psychosocial Wellbeing, addresses the following topics:
Care planning and coordination of pharmacological, psychological and social interventions for adolescents
Establishing skills in the medication management of common psychiatric disorders and safe prescribing
Approaches to psychosocial interventions for adolescents and their families
Knowledge of common practical psychological techniques for clinical practice

Describe the general principles for prescribing adolescent psychopharmacology.

Knowledge of common practical psychological techniques for clinical practice.
