Rural and Remote Emergency Management
The main objective for this workshop is to provide rural & remote emergency doctors and nurses with team-based learning opportunities to recognise and manage patients who attend with remote emergency medicine presentations including tropical infections, sepsis & snakebite. The workshop also aims to improve skills in recognising the deteriorating patient, emergency intubation, ventilation, ECG and ABG analysis. It will use workshops & lectures to enhance clinical knowledge, procedural skills and confidence in utilizing local equipment & resources.
