Step to Work | Everyday work
Everyday work
By the end of the session you should be able to:
- plan your everyday work as part of your role
- utilise mental models to help structure your working day
Document your answers to the following task in the worksheet. The exercise should take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
3a task: creating a rich picture
Draw on a piece of paper, or using a computer, a rich picture of a usual working day in your chosen profession.
Remember, there are no rules. You can be as creative as you like and approach the situation from any angle.
- Think about the sorts of things you do at work.
- Who do you engage with?
- What changes do you try to make?
- How do you organise things?
- What takes precedence?
- What do you try to achieve?
- How do you know if it's been a good day?
