Too Busy to Learn? How to Engage Time-Poor Nurses

  • : Online
Lecture Overview

It’s 1.30pm on a Thursday afternoon and it’s double staff time. A perfect time to run an educational session, right? Now you just have to find your learners across the ward and get them to attend on your in-service, all the while they’re thinking about their patient whose antibiotics are due, the notes they have to write, and the lunch break they haven’t had! – sound familiar? Engaging busy learners is quite possibly one of the biggest challenges facing nurse educators. However, there are simple, practical ways that can make your job easier.
