  • : Online

Point of care ultrasound machine has become increasingly popular and affordable among general practitioners, particularly those working in rural remote areas. However, clinical ultrasound is one of the most highly operator-dependent skills, limited by time constraints, user experience and misleading images known as artifacts. This 5-day course is designed to give the general clinicians, and particularly, rural practitioners a solid grounding in the basics of ultrasound in E-FAST protocol, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) assessment, gall bladder, early pregnancy, basic cardiac and guided vascular access to provide safe and quality assured health care services.
