National Lynch Syndrome Project

This training programme aims to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence of gynaecology and gynaecological cancer care professionals in delivering testing for Lynch syndrome for patients diagnosed with endometrial cancer. This is to support implementation of national and international guidelines on Lynch syndrome testing for all women with endometrial cancer.

This engaging online training programme is available to healthcare professionals around the world, working within gynaecological cancer – including healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients, such as surgeons, oncologists, nurse specialists, and pathologists.

This training resource was developed in the UK by the Women’s Precision Prevention clinical academic team at Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London. The creation of these modules has been supported by clinicians and experts from Queen Mary University of London, Barts Health NHS Trust, the North Thames Genetic Medicine Service Alliance, London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, and the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with the elearning experts from NHS England elearning for healthcare.
