Pathway details

UWA's Doctor of Podiatric Medicine program prepares students to commence clinical practice as primary contact healthcare practitioners in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the foot and ankle. You can pursue a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) at UWA via a Direct Pathway after completing a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a major in Medical Sciences. If you are not studying a Direct Pathway and do not complete this major in your undergraduate degree, you will be required to sit the GAMSAT or complete two prerequisite units in your undergraduate course.

More about this course

The opportunity to study Podiatric Medicine within a medical faculty is unique in Australia, and the course is the only one of its kind in Australia. UWA Podiatric Medicine students learn at one of the top 100 medical schools in the world, according to QS World University Rankings by Subject 2016.
