Learning Objectives

By the end of this session you will be able to:

  • Take a targeted history from a patient with pain in the eye
  • Perform a targeted examination of the eye
  • Learn the basics of using an ophthalmoscope

Patients regularly present to their GP with eye problems. This is estimated at about 1.5% of all GP consultations.
