184121 - Let's talk about sex: midlife sexual function
This webinar has been developed to improve health professionals’ knowledge and management of sexual dysfunction around midlife, a problem affecting more than 40% of women in Australia.
The webinar will cover the following:
• Hormonal and anatomical changes at midlife
• Common sexual difficulties
• Consultation and history-taking essentials to improve practice
• Management and referral options.
The webinar aims to address gaps in practice, providing the opportunity for health professionals (GPs, nurses, specialists and a range of other health professionals) to be upskilled, develop their knowledge and confidence and so better manage and refer the women who present with some of the more common midlife sexual difficulties.
