The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is the only College in Australia dedicated to rural and remote medicine.
We are committed to delivering sustainable, high-quality health services to rural and remote communities by providing:
- quality education programs

- strong representation for doctors who serve those communities.
ACRRM provides Fellowship training, professional development and standards appropriate for rural and remote medicine. Fellowship of ACRRM (FACRRM) qualifies you to work as a General Practitioner anywhere in Australia including to take on the special role of the Rural Generalist.

We’re proud of our comprehensive Professional Development Program (PDP) which sets and upholds high standards that define and govern Australia’s unsupervised general practitioners. Our curriculum and requirements help to ensure you become better-equipped to take on the exciting challenges of rural generalism.
While participating in the College’s PDP is a mandatory requirement in maintaining Fellowship of ACRRM, registration and participation is available to all of our members as a benefit of membership. Our courses are available to both members and non-members.
