We are a mobile team of highly qualified and reliable allied health professionals. Our friendly team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and podiatrist provide rehabilitation at home across many locations including Melbourne, regional Victoria, Sydney, Brisbane, Launceston, and Hobart.
Own Body understands that it can be both difficult and time consuming to travel to a health professional when recovering from surgery, illness or injury, or simply leaving the house when your mobility is restricted.
We have been around for over 11 years and have grown our team to over 70 clinicians in this time. Having always been mobile, we have the experience, processes, technology and support in place to ensure our team feel connected and have everything they need to focus on what's important
Our caseload commonly includes complex cases to really get you thinking, but we never ask our clinicians to take on clients outside of their clinical skill set. We are all about empowerment and exercise rehab, not passive manual therapies
Our philosophy is centred on an individual approach and prioritising active management over passive therapies. Our team will ensure that you are informed about your injury. You will be set up with realistic expectations for treatment outcomes, and have an active role in setting goals and determining your most appropriate treatment style.
