Play Therapy is a relatively unknown approach to children's wellbeing and many struggle to believe it actually works! We have all been trained in the specific skill set that makes us able to reach children on a different level, to help them process, heal and thrive.
You can feel comfortable with us knowing that we have your child’s best interest at the heart of our approach. We’re proudly neurodivergent affirming and have a base of trauma informed care.
We are passionate about what we do and we know that play is the way.
Here at Play Therapy SA, we offer a range of therapeutic modalities to help children and families live the best lives they can. Our therapists are post-graduate trained and love working both with children directly and with parents and caregivers.

Why work with us
e are a growing practice with 3 locations and we have 5 playrooms. We have a vision to add two more locations (South and West of the CBD) and add another playroom or two to the existing locations.
That means we get to help even more kids! Yay!
But, we can't do that without adding to our already amazing team.
We are looking for therapists that have at minimum a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy or are working towards it. And please get in touch if you are enrolled, we are always happy to chat about your future at PTSA.
If you are interested in becoming a Play Therapist we can help point you in the right direction - it's a maze out there!
