For more than 75 years, Cerebral Palsy Alliance has been provided essential therapy, services, support, programs, advocacy, equipment and technology for people with cerebral palsy and similar disabilities.
We're committed to providing world-class services for 6,000 clients throughout 100+ sites in NSW and the ACT. We've also positively impacted the lives of millions more people with disabilities through our research breakthroughs, translated into new therapies and practices, that have helped to reduce the instance of cerebral palsy by 30% in recent years.
Founded in 1945 by a group of families of children with cerebral palsy, we are the oldest non-profit cerebral palsy organisation in the world. In addition, we are the largest private funder of research into the treatment and prevention of cerebral palsy globally through the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation, and a major supporter of disability tech through our start-up accelerator, Remarkable.

At CPA our priority is to help babies, children, teenagers and adults living with neurological and physical disabilities lead the most comfortable, independent and inclusive lives possible. Our therapy teams work with individuals and families to maximise their participation in the community.
We operate from more than 70 sites throughout metropolitan, regional and rural NSW and the ACT.
Our research
For over a decade we have been driving international research into the prevention, treatment and cure of cerebral palsy through our CPA research Foundation.
We’ve dedicated millions of dollars to the study and implementation of prevention, and committed ourselves to the advancement of treatments for those living with cerebral palsy. The reason we’re here today is that a cure is possible, and our Cerebral Palsy Research Institute and Foundation are determined to find it.

Technological innovation has the potential to reduce barriers and become a powerful driver of inclusion. Remarkable is Australia’s first disability tech accelerator. We connect inclusive start-ups with the capital, expertise and skills they need to succeed. Our award winning 16-week accelerator program has been tailored to early stage start-ups looking to build sustainable enterprises that have a big social impact.

We are a registered training organisation and leaders in disability training. With over 70 years’ experience in the disability sector, we offer a range of services to clients and support the development of a skilled and confident workforce to meet the growing demands of the disability sector.
