Overview
Ochre Medical Centre Noosa is centrally located in Noosa at 24 Sunshine Beach Road, across the road from BCC Cinemas. The modern, purpose built medical practice currently has five GPs who offer a range of health services including vaccinations, women’s and men’s health checks, pre employment medicals, skin checks, minor emergencies, health assessments and development of care plans for chronic or complex issues. The centre is also home to Allied Health Services and visiting Specialists.
After hours
Out of hours medical deputising service is the National Home Doctor Service. They can be contacted on 137 425. There is an emergency medical centre at Noosa Hospital, 111 Goodchap Street, Noosaville. Phone (07) 5455 9200. The main Accident and Emergency Centre on the Sunshine Coast is at Nambour General Hospital, Netherton Street, Nambour. Phone (07) 5470 6600. The Queensland Ambulance service phone number is 131 233. In case of emergency you should dial 000.
Billing Type
Ochre Health is a mixed billing practice. Bulk billing is available at the discretion of the individual doctor and as a general guide, pensioners (over 65 years of age), health care card holders and children under 16 years can be bulk billed at certain times during the day. Please ask our friendly reception team for more details. Please also note, we have systems in place to process your Medicare rebate claims on the spot.

Nursing and Admin Support – We employ highly experienced nurses who assist our doctors with a wide range of medical tasks (Pap smears, CDM, care plans, …). Additionally, our dedicated Support Centre takes care of all other core business services, such as marketing, hiring, training and payroll.
Mixed Billings – Our doctors have the ability to bill patients as they see fit, this is to allow them to truly focus on patient care.
