Our doctors/GPs and allied health practitioners are fully trained, qualified and accredited, and the Centre is fully computerised, accredited and equipped with the latest equipment and technology. BULK-BILLING AVAILABLE
We believe that everyone should have access to the best possible health care. Our practice bulk bills eligible patients, provided they have a valid Medicare card when seeing a doctor at the Centre. About our bulk billing policy, please enquire at reception for more details.

Illness doesn’t always occur during business hours and there are times during normal working hours when you just can’t find the time to see a doctor. That’s why, as part of our commitment to providing the best possible service to patients, we’ve extended our opening hours.

Petersham Family Medical Centre is now the only medical practice at Petersham that is open 7 days a week (we are closed on public holidays only). We are also open in the evenings (weeknights to 9 pm). We also offer access to 24-hours care throughout the whole year. Currently, we have four General Practitioners at Petersham Family Medical Centre, including both male and female doctors. In addition, we offer the most comprehensive range of allied health practitioners at the same location to be found anywhere in the inner west. We have Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Dietitians and Clinical Psychologists, all operating at the Centre. Our doctors/GPs and allied health practitioners are all fully trained, qualified and accredited. Our practitioners are all committed to good clinical practice (GCP). At our Centre we encourage our practitioners to contribute to the professional education of other practitioners, and to the advancement of medical knowledge by participating in relevant clinical research.
