In planning for the future, Echuca Regional Health has commenced two projects, a hospital redevelopment plan and the implementation of a tertiary training facility.

With the support of the State Government, Echuca Regional Health has commenced planning a major redevelopment of the hospital in order to meet the needs of projected population increases over the next 25 years. The redevelopment will see the existing emergency department and medical wards replaced at an estimated cost of $91 million. Click the following link for more information on the hospital redevelopment plan.

The tertiary training facility, located on the Echuca Regional Health site, will provide tertiary training and accommodation for student doctors, nurses and allied health workers.
