We are located in West Dubbo and are close to Macquarie Anglican Grammar School and St Pius Catholic Primary School as well as West Dubbo Infants, Primary & High School. There is a relatively new shopping centre including Woolworths, Delroy Pharmacy, Food Outlets, Post Office, Gym, Dental Clinic and ample parking. Taronga Western Plains Zoo, and Central Dubbo is less than a 5 minute drive. There is a bus stop opposite the practice for ease of access. Dubbo hosts many beautiful walking paths/tracks and also hosts a local park run for our more fit residents. Sporting facilities are many and varied and many are able to be played year round with Dubbo Indoor Sports Centre offering a range of services.
Why work with us
Gumtree Medical Practice was established in 2007 when a need was identified for health services in the West Dubbo area. We commenced practice with our Principal GP doing skin cancer detection and treatment and another GP providing General Practice consultations. From this we have expanded and now have 6 Doctors, 3 job sharing Registered Nurses, 2 Reception Staff, a Bookkeeper and a Practice Manager/Receptionist. We are a family oriented practice and understand the demands of working Doctors and strive to provide a balanced work/family life. We are happy to work with candidates with hours etc. The practice hosts medical students and also has a GP Registrar completing their training with GP Synergy.
