This fantastic Emergency Medicine Registrar opportunity requires a doctor with sound emergency medicine experience, terms done in anaesthetics and ICU and the ability to manage an emergency department at night (as there is only a consultant on call). Joining a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide high quality clinical service to patients under the guidance of consultant staff within designated teaching units. You will assess the medical needs of patients and support junior staff through education, supervision and mentorship.
This new hospital is a not-for-profit 367 bed facility, 307 for public patients and 60 for private patients, with a holistic approach to caregiving. Having only recently opened, the public and private facilities are conveniently located within one complex and with new state-of-the-art facilities. The Emergency Department is located within the public section and features 48 clinical treatment bays, three resuscitation bays and a separate four-bed paediatric assessment unit. Within its first full year of opening the Emergency Department is expected to have treated 60,000 people.

To be successful in applying for this position you must already hold registration or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. You must also have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a range of medical, surgical and acute care disciplines.
