One FT position across two sites
Working across two locations, Moe and Morwell you will be supported by an excellent team of 5 doctors and 2 nurses. This new state of the art clinics holds utmost importance for quality patient care even providing valuable telehealth facilities to patience in hard to access rural areas.
Similarly, doctors working in this accredited teaching practice is supported through excellent opportunities for professional development. Ample Mentoring and supervision will be provided to incoming GP’s.
Stepping into this role will be a breeze as VMO and weekend work will not be required, on call responsibilities will be shared on a rotation basis between two practices.
AHPRA registration- General or Specialists registration
Ability to support upskilling in interested courses (upskilling grants available)
60% of billings – $100 per hour for first 3 months (if 60% is less)
60% of billings – After hour/on call payment rate
Study leave negotiable – fellowship exam preparation

This is a large multidisciplinary practice growing across various locations in the Gippsland region. The Morwell and Moe practices are both fully computerised, accredited and are teaching practices that currently supervises 6 doctors in total. Emphasis on professional development, supervision and support will be plenty.
The practice hours are Monday to Friday between 8:30am to 17:00pm and Wednesday from 8:30am to 19:00pm. No VMO or weekend sessions.
This role requires coverage predominately at the Morwell clinic, currently occupied by 4 GP’s with approximately average of 140 patience seen per week. Services provided by the practice includes Allied Health (podiatry, dietetics, physio, exercise physiology, diabetes educator, respiratory nurse, continence nurse), Psychology, counselling, District Nursing, Palliative Care, Drug Treatment Services and more.
Morwell is a large town located between Moe and Traralgon in the Latrobe Valley. Morwell has an attractive commercial centre, divided in two by the Gippsland rail line. The larger of these centres is located south of the railway along tree-lined Commercial Road, Tarwin Street and George Street. Legacy Place is an open square located in Commercial Road opposite Tarwin Street and features a monument dedicated to Sir Stanley Savige who was born in Morwell and founded the organisation which cares for families of deceased war veterans. A pedestrian underpass beside Legacy Place provides a link to Morwell’s other commercial centre north of the railway along Princes Drive and Church Street where there are more shops, a post office, hotels and churches. The large Mid Valley Shopping Centre is located on the eastern side of town.
A characteristic of Morwell is the use of roses within many of its gardens. The greatest concentration of them can be found at the Morwell Centenary Rose Garden at the northern end of Maryvale Crescent and along Commercial Road.
