Role:

Work in a family focused and supportive team environment. You will be supported by practice nurses in delivering patient-centric treatments.

You will truly run your own business supported by the clinic, as flexibility exists with working hours, days of work, patient numbers and future career development.

There are no requirements for VMO responsibilities, after-hours or on-call participation.  Working the weekend roster is at your discretion and may be suitable if you are seeking to increase your income.

A friendly, empathetic and caring approach to your patients, along with clear communication and a positive approach will assist you in settling into this family friendly clinic.

Essential Criteria:

  • AHRPA Registration – able to support level 3 supervision

  • Australian general practice or hospital experience

The Package:

  • 70% of billings depending on experience

Practice Details:

This AGPAL accredited bulk billing practice houses five consulting rooms and a modern well-equipped treatment room.  Recently refurbished, the clinic is housed in an historic period home with the consulting rooms featuring quality period details.  It is a well equipped practice with a pathology collecting service on site.

Located in the heart of Ballarat, close to the base hospital, you will be supported by GPs, experienced administration staff and a practice manager.  A long standing relationship exists with the hospital to attend to emergency department overflow patients.

With a focus on family medicine, the clinic treats a mix of all patient demographics with a strong representation of mental health and chronic disease which is endemic in the community.

Open hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 7.00pm, Saturday and Sunday, 9.00am – 5.00pm.

Ballarat is Victoria’s largest inland city and is a thriving hub of contemporary arts, events and food and wine.  With a fascinating heritage backdrop, you can explore the city’s gold rush days through architecture, monuments and other tourist attractions.  Ballarat is known by locals as being one hour from everything – one hour to the beach, one hour to the mountains, one hour to the snow, one hour to Melbourne.
