This is an outstanding opportunity for you to join one of Horsham’s best known and long established clinics in either a part-time or full-time capacity.
Dealing with a family orientated practice you will see a variety of patients and deal with a broad range of health care requirements. The town has superb access to Allied health and you can access visiting specialists inhouse. Experienced nurses will support you in your role and you will have access to modern up to date equipment.
Your broad range of General Practice experience will see you transition into this well supported environment. Being linked with the local hospital, participation in the after-hours on-call roster (currently 1:5 weekends and less than 1:2 weekday) is expected. The practice also has VMO rights to the local health service and visits to the Nursing homes are also optional.
While procedural skills are not mandatory, Obstetric skills will assist the practice. An interest in medical education is also valued as the practice has a long history of active involvement in training students and registrars.
As a new GP to the clinic, you will receive a detailed orientation and induction into the practice with ongoing mentoring and support. You and your family will be provided with help to settle into a welcoming community with assistance to access accommodation, schooling, community support services, sporting and special interest organisations and social opportunities.
AHPRA medical registration – able to support level 3 supervision
Australian health system experience (hospital or general practice) preferred
Demonstrated broad range of GP skills
from 55 – 65% of billings depending on level of qualifications and supervison needs

This RACGP teaching practice consists of 17 consulting rooms, 2 treatment rooms, a triage room as well as a small procedures theatre. Recently renovated the practice is well-equipped with modern equipment and prides itself on providing the highest quality of care to all its patients.
Lister House Clinic currently has a team of 8 full and part-time doctors, two GP registrars, two medical students, an in-house surgeon, as well as visiting cardiologists, psychiatrist and a paediatrican. Supporting the doctors and specialists are a team of reception and administration staff and dedicated nurses specialising in care plans, diabetes education, midwifery, women’s health, immunisations, theatre procedures and health assessments. as well as 15 support staff.
