An opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department as a GP O&G Registrar. The GP O&G Registrar will provide quality clinical services to hospital patients. This involves developing clinical judgement, acquiring procedural skills and establishing clear and effective communication to achieve patient outcomes. This will require clinical experience, knowledge and expertise in Obstetric medicine based on the five domains of General Practice as outlined by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

The successful applicant will have well-developed time management and problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and work under supervision. Applicants should also possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills while bring able to work effectively in a team environment.

Essential Criteria

  • AHPRA Registration – General
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate positively with patients and stakeholders
  • High level of motivation
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Practice Details:

GV Health is the Public Health Service for the Hume Region, with main campuses located at Shepparton, Tatura and Rushworth and additional sites in Shepparton, Seymour, Benalla and Wodonga.

GV Health provides a range of acute, mental health, aged and primary health and community support services across the Goulburn Valley Sub Region of the Department of Human Services, Hume Region. The main campus is the major acute referral site for the sub region.
