Strong support and mentoring
You will be joining a long-standing and highly reputable GP clinic attached to the local health service.
Working in a full-time capacity you will be completing up to 10 sessions/week and participating in an on-call/after-hours roster (1:4) with the incumbent GPs.
You will also hold VMO rights to the local health service and conduct rounds when required.
The practice will provide you with a detailed orientation and induction program to assist you and your family to settle into the practice and the community at large.
You will be afforded ongoing support and mentoring from a strong team of Vocationally Registered GPs who will help you with your professional growth and development.
AHPRA Registration – general or specialist

Percentage of mixed billings reflecting your experience in Australian general practice

This well-established, fully computerised practice has been providing trusted care and established quality medical services to the local community for over 20 years.
Attached to the local health services and servicing a catchment population of over 4500, the practice focusses on supporting their patients to be healthy and live full lives.
An accredited, computerised practice, currently comprising of two GPs and visiting specialists, doctors are supported in practice by four receptionists, practice manager, one enrolled nurse, one registered nurse and visiting allied health specialists.
You will have access to a treatment room where services such as minor surgeries, suturing, vaccinations and general ‘lumps and bumps’ procedures are performed.
The local health service has podiatrists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and a visiting ENT surgeon who work closely with the clinic.
Australian Hearing visits every six weeks, Australian Cardiac Diagnostic delivers monthly echo ultrasounds services and Bendigo X-Ray works three-days a week next to the clinic. Pathology services are coordinated daily and two visiting psychologists attend the clinic along with a diabetic educator and an asthma nurse.
In 2012, a prestigious award was given to the local nursing home for innovation in dementia care at the Victoria Public Heathcare Awards.
Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.
After-hours/on-call services to the local health service is rostered 1:4.
